The basics about me.
Sometimes I:
- Hike
- Backpack
- Canyoneer
- Walk my dog
- Make my own gear
- Plan for the above. And snap pics.
But I do not:
- Take extraordinary pictures (though I do take ordinary pictures of extraordinary places)
- Speak or write concisely
- Ever, ever write uplifting or inspiring things
- Avoid showing my grizzled face. Or my dog’s.
I’m just a regular Joe in his fifties. I’m not particularly “extreme”. Sometimes my joints ache.
I work full time, although I do get a generous amount of time off, and I certainly don’t spend all my off time outside. I don’t hike a ton (unfortunately), and I do not spend an extraordinary amount of time outdoors. I’m just a regular guy.
However, I do like to occasionally get away and spend time in nature. Sometimes I manage to spend a week or two at a time. And I do occasionally visit some stunningly beautiful places.
